HOUSE OF OZ PARTNERS WITH DAISY GREEN COLLECTION, LONDON'S LEADING AUSSIE CAFE OPERATOR
19.7.23
House of Oz (winner of Entertainment Now’s Best Fringe Venue award in its debut year of 2022) is back at the Edinburgh Fringe. It’s the only venue dedicated exclusively to celebrating Australian creativity and talent.
In partnership with Daisy Green Collection—the innovative independent group of Aussie cafes and restaurants—House of Oz will be presenting an exciting culinary journey to match the breadth of talent to be discovered onstage and offers a unique dining experience to the Fringe.
This is Daisy Green Collection’s first cafe pop-up outside of London and will bring their bright, bold and relaxed style to the Scottish capital, via signature brunch dishes such as Avocado on Charcoal, Famous Banana Bread Sandwich and their Fancy Bacon Roll on paratha roti.
Daisy Green founder Prue Freeman said: “We are so thrilled to be heading to the Edinburgh Festival this year with our friends House of Oz – a fantastic partnership celebrating Aussie creativity! Daisy Green takes on Edinburgh - a city that we adore and my husband and I have spent many happy times visiting. Following last year’s coffee stand collab, we’re now bringing a bigger and better pop-up. Our all-day menu will showcase some real Daisy classic dishes and our much-loved Aussie Lamingtons”.
Alongside the award-winning all-day brunch, Daisy Green will also be serving up salads, burgers, the perfect Aussie flat white (thanks to a bespoke House of Oz x Daisy Green coffee blend) and the Collection’s pillowy soft lamingtons with a twist.
In the evening, resident chef and Aussie native, Michael Bagnall, will be serving his own menu of specials showcasing native ingredients from the Australian continent.
From 4-27 August, House of Oz is serving up:
Daisy Green’s signature all-day brunch menu alongside specials in collaboration with resident chef Michael Bagnall.
The best flat white in town made with the special Daisy Green x House of Oz blend, plus limited edition ‘cans of beans’ to take home.
World famous Radio Lamingtons, Australia’s favourite sponge cake, the pillowy lamington, in a range of scrumptious flavours as well as the classic version. Every week, Daisy Green sends boxes of Lamingtons to our NHS heroes.
A whole host of distinctive Aussie names including Coopers beer, Mr Black craft coffee liqueur, Four Pillars Gin, Vegemite and TimTams.
Brunch, lunch and dinner will be served daily throughout the festival (from August 4-27) in the beautifully designed secret garden to the rear of the venue. Coffees and lamingtons from Daisy Green will be served from until 6pm daily.

ABOUT DAISY GREEN
https://www.daisygreenfood.com/
The Daisy Green Collection brings the relaxed yet buzzing Australian food and coffee culture to London. Through individually designed cafes and restaurants, they have created iconic spaces that have become local destinations and meeting points for surrounding residents, workers and visitors. Their food is carefully-sourced and cooked in-house from scratch. Menus are inspired by founder Prue Freeman’s childhood at home on a sheep farm and hot summers on the beach. Combining fresh Mediterranean ingredients with pops of Asian flavours and textures, there is an overriding sense of freshness, quality and simplicity. In June this year, Daisy Green launched Audrey Green and Larry’s at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Watch an interview with Prue on the opening on 7 News Australia. Scarlett Green in Soho is currently rated #1 spot for brunch in London on Tripadvisor.
